Started working on cowling with earnest today. Tracey helped me get upper and lower cowlings in place. Marked for initial length cut. Will need to remove some of the honeycomb.
As expected cylinder one exhaust will be a problem, so cut rough hole just to get halves closer together. More work needed.
Installed nose gear fairing to check prop clearance. Just about 5 inches with flat pitch.
