While the fuselage is up on its new stand, I am going to get the wheel pants done. It will be easier while it is lighter and doesn't have to sit precariously on jacks for several days.
Trimmed both sets of wheel pant halves to an initial fit. Will need more filler to correct final alignment of halves.
Drew vertical reference lines on aft edge of pants. Fabricated V-block per plans and anchored to work bench. Marked centerline on aft section of wheel pants. Then taped forward and aft sections together. Marked halves for drilling per plans and drilled to #40. Drilled specified hole to 1/2".
