Unfortunately for me, I'm fighting a summer cold and don't have the enrgy to wrestle with the cover today. So instead I working on parts to get ready for one last large priming session.
Cut the F-1089 elevator fwd pushrod to 33" from stock material. Cut hole guide strip out and taped to ends. Match drilled both ends #40. Drilled one VA-111 with 1/16" hole for safety wire. Inserted VA-111 rod ends in place and final drilled #30.
Cut the F-1090 elevator aft pushrod to 56 3/8" from stock material. Taped hole guide strip in place. Match drilled #40. Insterted VA-101 rod ends and final drilled #30.
