Brief Description: Primed left HS skin and inside of HS skins
I finished priming the left HS skeleton as well as the inside HS skins. This time I primed everything outside. The primer dried quickly, so I went back to the plans and riveted the HS rear spar together with the pneumatic rivet squeezer. I misaligned the squeezer on several rivets and had to drill them out and redo them. Rivet length is still baffling. I was careful to use the rivet lengths called out in the plans, but the shop heads on some are much thicker than on others. I am trying to keep the diameter of the shop head within specs, using the little gage I purchased from Avery. I will try to get another builder to check these rivets before I close them up. I will also need to get a torque wrench to tighten the center bearing bolts.
