Brief Description: Put together three landing gear legs
I had a typical Van's experience with the Main Gear. The brakes shipped were not Cleveland Brakes, shown in the drawings. I could not figure out the orientation and how to put them in.
I lost a couple of days trying to puzzle them out. Then, after about 8 hours on the first leg, with the gear on and off about a dozen times - I finally figured it out.
Naturally the second gear leg only took less than an hour because I knew what I was doing.
I then worked the front gear leg without any problems. I couldn't find two 3/8 washers that are supposed to be Grade 8. They had some at lowes, but I think they are too large in diameter.
I will go to automated fasteners in the morning and pick up some smaller Grade 8 washers.
