Brief Description: started drilling plexiglass slider
Started drilling and cleco'ing center slider rail and rear bow of slider.
Laid out marks on center lines of tubes on 2" centers. Checked fit a couple of times, heated garage to 75 degrees and started drilling. No real problems.
There is still a little plexiglass to trim from the sliding canopy section on the rear and the left side. When I finish cleco'ing, I'll take the canopy off, template the C-653 center strip, doe the little bit of trimming, and start to countersink up and rivet the canopy slider.
I am going to have to skip a few steps. I can't do the windscreen because I don't have the front deck on. I don't have the front deck on because, I want to leave it off until I get the panel under control.
I think I will jump forward and start working on the gear.
