Brief Description:  Installed port and starboard steps

I was dreading these steps. By eye, it looked like they would not conform to the hull. Further, it looking like riveting them would be an immense pain in the ass.

Well the left one fit perfectly, Trimmed 3/4" off the anchor pipe, trimmed the aft end of the rivet plate and I was good to go. Riveting them alone was not nearly as difficult as I thought, and the result was good.

Once the left one was done, I jumped on the right one. The plate required about 5 minutes of cold shaping on my anvil, and I was good to go there as well. Riveting, with the gun in my left hand was a little awkward, but was not a real problem.

My sound-proofing came today from A/C Spruce. I am going to call Van's tomorrow and see where they recommend application.
