I made these parts first, because they looked like ideal candidates for my Speed Whittler. They required a tool change from 3/32" endmill for pilot holes, to 1/8" endmill to cut the profile. I haven't been able to find a 3/32" bit suitable for cutting anything thicker than .032" so I just peck drill the holes and change the bit to cut the profile. In a lot of cases I will be able to match drill mating parts, so there is still some time savings there. I can also accomplish other tasks while the machine runs unattended.
