Several years back, I designed and built this CNC router table. It can handle 24" x 24" material, and will be used primarily to machine the webs of the aluminum angle components. The sheet aluminum will be cut on a much larger CNC table at my workplace. I dug up my CAD drawings to design and fabricate some fixturing for the various pieces I will be machining. The table has been in storage for some time, it took about 10 hours to set it up, upgrade the motors and electronics, and build the fixture.
I decided to mount the fixture running down the table rather than across so I can machine pieces much longer than 24" by either rotating them and machining each end seperately, or by sliding them along the fixture and maching a section at a time.
