Got the temporary workbench set-up. I'll make a bigger one once I start the horizontal stabilizer. The detailed instructions that accompany the rudder kit were well written and straight forward. I still needed to refer to the blueprints quite often. Since this assembly is designed to be a basis for the construction of the rest of the plane, I spent extra time making sure everything was right. I saw on the plans that the spar doublers have a different angles bent into each end. They fit into the sides of the spar only one way to make the angles match up. The instructions made no mention of this though. The parts are not pre-drilled, so I had to measure out all the holes for the doublers. I then measured out the locations of all the ribs and bracktes to make sure none of their holes interferred with the doubles holes.
