Brief Description: Wiring - Wing Tips, Thermocouple, Compass.

I guess I didn't take many pictures today, but I did manage to wire up the the wing tip lights, compass, and thermocouple.
I am using the external compass for my Dynon system. I have the ADHRS located under the baggage floor behind the right seat. It is about 4-5 inches from the steel elevator pushrod, and I have found that when I operate the elevator the moving steel pushrod causes the compass reading on my Dynon display to move. I expected this, so I installed a remote compass in the RH wing during construction, and after wiring it up today my display is doing exactly what it is supposed to.
I also put my Dynon thermocouple out on the wing for an uninterrupted air flow. I am not sure why I didn't just run this to the remote compass in the same wing, but I didn't, so I wired it to the the ADHRS.
The wing tip lights required a bit of harness making to connect the two lights together, and then to the power lead I had run from the panel. Upon completion I flipped on the strobes and enthusiastically celebrated the hypnotic pulsing. Then I flipped on the position lights and promptly tripped the circuit breaker.. - Uhg... After a bit of diagnosis I found that one of the heat shrink tubes with internal solder that I used to add a grounding pigtail to the shielded wire I used actually pushed some of the ground wire into the red supply wire. A quick repair had everything working as it should.
