Over the past several days I have been slowly picking away at the interior panels.
I have an early kit, and have acquired some of the updated parts as they were released, so some of this is a hodgepodge of making the various panels all work together.
I used the early style closeout for between the seats. This allowed me to put the 6 pin Lemosa headphone jacks in a location where they wont get damaged, and also provides a nice area for the headset control boxes to rest. I may cover this part with the fuzzy side of Velcro so I can use it as a place to Velcro items like the control boxes, my phone, etc...
The center panel in front of the flaps that came with my kit was just a very small rectangular plate. I took the time to make a new plate that provides coverage back to the flaps handle similar to the current offering from RANS and I like it much better.
The process of getting the panels fit up was a little daunting at first, but taking my time to lay the parts in place, think it through, and then make lots of small cuts and tweaks seems to be getting pretty good results.
