Brief Description: Painted and Installed Aileron Mounts.

In preparation for painting the ailerons, I powder coated and installed the hinge brackets.
* The swivel bushings are a press fit in the hinge brackets, so I taped off the bushing hole while painting.
* I installed the swivel bushings into the hinge brackets using my drill press vice and a socket. I drilled a 3/8" hole in the backing board to allow clearance for the swivel ball.
* I didn't pre-fit the hinge brackets before covering the wing, and I was wishing I had. Before covering, I could have just ran a long 3/16" drill bit through the bracket and wing spar to line up all the holes. Since I didn't do that, I needed to drill out the 1/8" hole in the spar, find the 1/8" hole in the back of the spar, and get everything to line up so the mounting bolt would start.
I accomplished this by first drilling the outside hole to 3/16", then I used a 5/32" bit to find the hole on the inside of the spar and open it up, then the 3/16" bit. Then I tried to fit the bracket in place, but on all of them I ended up opening up the outside hole and on some the inside hole to 13/64 in order to get the bolt threads to start.
