I now have the 10-24 Rivnuts installed on both sides of the fuselage, and the side skins / very large access panels made, drilled, primer coated, and installed. I picked up some 10-24 stainless steel screws with larger heads to allow me to slightly oversize the access panel holes. This works out much better. I've also installed the access panel trim pieces on the port side necessary for this installation, and the anchor point at the beltline on the port side. This matches the anchor point on the starboard as a clip-on point for the boarding ladder. With two of them, they can also be the forward anchor points for the canopy cover.
Now on the avionics bay cover and the engine mount.
