finished fabricating spacer plates and installed. They worked great. Marked the baffles inside the cowl using a measuring stick the same length as the plates, then made the initial cuts. Trimmed a few times and the cowl sat down nicely. More fine tune trimming required before installing seal strips. One problem: the oil cooler will not work up high where I put it, need to remount lower on the #4 baffle. Common problem I found out according to the forums. Ordered a new oil cooler mount plate.
