Brief Description:  Formed Leading Edge of the Rudder

I used a 3/4" diameter steel conduit pipe to form the leading edge of the rudder. I put several strips of duct tape on the forward edges of the left skin, overlapping the front edge of the skin and taped around the conduit. I attached vise grip pliers to the pipe and turned to form a curve in the skin, keeping pressure away from the spar. I then repeated the process on the right skin. I squeezed the skins together by hand and clecoed the leading edge together. I then final drilled the skins to #30 and riveted them together using the recommended blind-rivets.
