Brief Description:  Tail Wiring-1

I finally came up with a plan for the elevator trim wiring. I wanted to be able to remove either the trim motor or HS without cutting wires as well as the option to install wiring (trim, position light and anything I forgot) at a later time without removing floorboards. Drilled a hole in the lower portion of the bulkheads and installed Van’s corrugated conduit all the way into the tail cone. Then drilled a hole in the top plate and pulled the conduit up thru the hole. I will secure the open end with an adel clamp and use RTV around the conduit where it passes thru the holes. Heating the conduit with a hair dryer makes pulling the conduit a piece of cake! I will run the other end of the conduit to the forward fuse area. . Ordered some Dsub pins & sockets from SteinAir—will use these to make trim motor or HS easily removable.
