Right tank still on test—think I’ll leave it until tomorrow evening. Pretty certain there are no leaks. The temp in my shop has been all over the board—high of 82 and low of 67. Water level has fluctuated from +7.5” to -6.75” in direct correlation with change in temp. Checked the torque on the tank bolts and all had been properly torqued. Added torque seal. Dug the inspection plates out of parts bin and scuffed up the inside prior to dimpling—saves the marron pad from shredding. Also added double side tape between the plexi lens and backing strip. At first I just ran the tape up to the edge of the holes, but upon closer inspection, it appeared to me that it would leave a gap of 1/16”+ between the plexi and the backing strip where the screws pass thru. Sure looked like an opportunity for the plexi to crack. So, I punched holes in the tape to fit over the holes in the backing strips.
