My log has gotten a bit behind—was on a trip for a few days. Last night I applied another coat of micro to the left elevator tip and a few spots on the right tip. This morning I sanded a good bit of it back off. Tonight I mixed up some Super Fil—added several drops of denatured alcohol to thin the mixture. Applied the mixture to a number of areas on the left tip. The thinned Super Fil seems to go on easier than when it is quite thick—smoothes out much better. Shot another coat of sanding primer on the right tip. Darn, it sure shows that more fill and sand is needed in a couple of areas.

R. tip--looks a bit ugly!
R.tip after some sanding primer-not quite as ugly now
