L. Elevator—primed all skeleton parts. After primer was dry, riveted on backing plates and nut plates. Next riveted the root rib to the spar with the 4 little countersunk rivets-and the fun began! Clenched over the rivet on one end, drilled it out and clenched it again. Took 3 attempts to finally get a rivet set. Sure is perfecting my rivet removal skills! With a fair amount of frustration, I forgot to get a pic of the end result.
