Brief Description: Rivet hinge to left side of cowl
Got another early start this morning trying to get ahead of the heat. Did pretty much the same as yesterday—mixed up some resin/flox and spread along the hinge line. Clecoed on the hinge and squeezed the rivets—used the same “soft” rivets as before—AN426A-3-4. Again, the cleaning up excess resin between the eyelets took as long as it did to squeeze in all the rivets. I was still planning to used the excess resin for the hinge/cowl, but it cooked before I was done with cleaning the eyelets of the hinge. Looks like I either need to get some slow hardner or need to work faster!
