Brief Description:  Clips for forward baffle to ramps

I worked on the clip that ties the right forward baffle to the forward air ramp. I first slightly straightened out the inboard bend in the forward baffle, then bend the outboard angle slightly more. This moved the vertical part of the baffle closer to lip of the cowl. Next, I cut some 1” .032 angle and trimmed it to fit. I laid out and punched 3/32” holes in the clip, then placed it in position and drilled thru the holes into the baffle with a #40 bit. The front of the air ramp still seems a flimsy, so I fabbed another small clip to help with this issue. Same routine—lay out holes, punch and drill to the baffle. I still ended up with more gap between the forward baffle and the cowl lip, but I’ll deal with it later. I moved to the left side and began another clip. The 90 degree bend in the .032 angle was not enough to close the gap between the baffle and ramp, so I put the edges in a vice and bent the angle a little more than 90 degrees—this took several iterations to get a good fit. I laid out the mounting holes, punched to 3/32, then drill thru the angle into the baffle. I was just laying out the holes for the part of the angle that rivets to the ramp when I ran short of time—I’ll finish this up tomorrow.
