Brief Description: Rivet F-821-1 top forward skin-1
Today I started attaching the F-821-1 top forward skin. I began with rivets in the baggage bulkhead—started in the center and worked outward toward the right side of the fuse. I drove 11 rivets—screwed up 4 which set proud. I moved to the center of the instrument panel bulkhead and set 23 rivets all the way to the right side longeron. All of these turned out well. I went back and drilled out 3 of the proud rivets and attempted to set new ones—these 3 all set proud again. Tomorrow I’ll drill them out again and get new ones set.
