I used the paper template which came with the eyeballs to make an aluminum template so I could mark location of the mounting holes. I center punched all of the mounting holes, then used my Whitney punch to cut the mounting holes. I clecoed the center hole of this template to the template made last night with location for 3 eyeballs and used the Whitney punch to transfer all of the mounting holes. This template will get cut for three 1” holes to verify fit on the firewall. I plan to search for a 1” hole punch tomorrow-maybe Harbor Freight.
