Added the ground wire to the mounting ring–very tight area to get a terminal, star lock washer and nut on the end of the screw. I installed the cap on to rudder for one last clearance check. Rudder swings left & right with no problems. Removed the rudder from the VS. I used a scrap of fiberglass from the cutout of the rudder horn to set the depth on the countersink. With the cap clecoed to the rudder, I countersunk the attach holes. Removed the cap and found I had missed a hole. I used a piece of 1/8” stock with a #30 hole as a guide to put a c/s in the hole. The last two holes on each side of the aft end were too close to the flared out area of the cap, so I used a deburr bit to c/s these holes. Just about ready to rivet the cap on.
