I have neglected my log for about a week. It was getting a bit repetitive and boring. Over the last week it was more of add filler, sand filler, add filler etc—you get the picture. Today, I believe maybe I’ve turned a corner and hopefully the end is not too far off. After several sessions of fill and sand, the left elevator tip and the right HS tip are finished (unless I go look real close and find another blemish). I need to address a couple of pin holes in the left HS tip and it will be done. Still have several more sessions on the right elevator tip before it will pass my standards. My tips are by no means perfect, but they should be decent enough that the paint shop shouldn’t have too much heartburn.
