Brief Description: Terminal Strip for Stick Wiring-1
I finally figured out how I want to run the wires for the Infinity grips. I fabbed up a tray for mounting a terminal strip with 13 connections. The tray will be located under the front seat ramp and will be secured to the front of the spar web with a couple of #8 screws. A couple of washers between the tray and the spar web provides clearance over the rivet heads in the web. BTW, this is not my design—saw this on Mike Elliott’s site. Thanks Mike! I was planning on using a couple of rubber grommets to space up the aft portion of the tray. However, just as I was leaving the shop, I had another idea. I dug thru a hardware bin and found a nutsert—I’ll have to check some clearances under the spar cap, but I think this may work.
