I spent a ton of time sanding today. What a drag. I put on too much fiberglass. I had to remove material off the black tape so I could remove the top layer of black tape. It was a drag to get that top layer of tape off. I should not have slopped so much fiberglass over the edge of the tape. After you take off the tape you're suppose to sand down the fillet until it is flush with the tape. My under layer of tape seemed a bit compromised on some edges, darn it. So I put the 2nd layer of tape back on for further sanding.
My sanding has gone down to the threads of the glass. I put on one more thin thin layer of fiberglass.
There were also some nicks or dry spots uncovered so I made some think fiberglass and filled them in too.
