The latch goes thru but with friction. I'll have to smooth off the latch later. One thing to note is I still have the 1/8 spacer under my side rails. When I remove them these latches work easier. But I think the canopy itself will hit the roll bar and maintain that 1/8 gap. So fit of these latches and fingers is okay for now. When the canopy is on and the side skins are on and this whole thing is riveted I'll adjust this latch again as necessary.
