Brief Description: Canopy Fitting 27: Finishing the fit
I took the tape off the end of the plexiglass so I could see better how the canopy was fitting the skins. Everything seems okay. There are slight gaps in the front but the close with just the slightlest down pressure. The only place where it looks like the canopy is being held up are two places about 2 inches long right above the hinge brackets. So I'm thinking maybe the skin is sagging. I don't want to trim any more in this area cause that would screw up the nice smooth curve I've got going, and I don't think it would help close the slight gaps anyway.
I looked closely at the sides and corners but they don't seem to be holding up the canopy anymore.
So I'm thinking this is fitting pretty good and so I'll go work on the aft end a bit.
