I marked where the tubes had to be shortened and sent them back to Bonaco.
Mr. Bonaco cut my tubes to length for no additional charge. And he made a special effort thru emails and phone calls to ensure the right cut mark. The fit great.
As you can see inside the fuel line runs from the valve to the bulkhead fitting. And outside the fuel line runs from the bulkhead fitting, thru the bracket will turn 90 degrees and connect to the wing tank. And there is slack for relative movement between the fuselage and wing with this outside tube.
I should mention, I went to Oshkosh and talked to a lot of builders about installing this fuel line bulkhead fitting. I decided this fitting and two part hose is the way to go. It weighs a little more and took too much time, but I like the steel braided fuel line under my legs.
Couple things to mention. I can't test the length of the outside tube until I put the wings on again. I measured, but didn't actually attach both ends. So I could be calling Bonaco for a shorter or long fuel line later.
Also I had to make washers to fill the bulkhead space for the fitting. See next page.
