Brief Description:  Fwd Fuselage - Paint Idea for interior

I took a little detour today and thought about interior paint. I've been thinking about pain, reading forums about paint, reading construction logs about paint and even taking photos of other RVs looking at their interior paint. I know the day is coming when I'll want to paint the interior.

I already know I'm a terrible painter and do not have the equipment to paint the exterior. But I should be able to do the interior.

I believe the interior paint requirements include being durable to withstand chips while working on the airplane, and repairable without visual side affects so when I do nick it, I can repair it and it will look okay.

I have been considering the water based spray paints, but today I saw this hammered Rust-oleum grey and I really like it. I like it because I could use black leather seats which sounds very cool, and they have a light shade of grey I could use if I want multi tones. Also they make a hammered blue which looks very nice with this hammered grey.

As a test I brought down my tool box training project, which I had painted blue and totally ruined. I thought if I can make it look good that will demonstrate 'repairability." Well, I like it a lot.

The tool box lid came out looking new again. I like the shine. I like the hammered look. I like the feel of it. And most of all, my wife likes it.

I don't want to hear from you guys that think I should make it a solid color. Hammered look likes me and I like it. Did I mention my garage floor and cabinets have the hammered look? And sometimes I look hammered too.
