Brief Description: Fwd Fuselage - Position Firewall exactly 1
Plans say to drill a hole on the center line but if you read ahead the plans also say to make firewall web 5/8 from edge of skins. So I decided to clamp and measure the firewall before drill anything.
The firewall is heavy and plans suggest putting rivets in the skin to longeron holes to keep them lined up. The firewall attach bracket is behind so you can't put clecoes. I taped them on. DO NOT SET THESE RIVETS.
Then I spent an hour measuring 5/8 all around the firewall from fwd edge of skins and clamping the skin in place.
