Then I needed to access both sides of the firewall so I clamped it up. This is a neat clamp because the height of it is the same as the table so the firewall is supported from below and the clamp just holds it vertical. I used a couple wood blocks to distribute the clamping force.
Then I started to put in the firewall cutout but noticed two dents from fabrication. Well you might remember that 25 pound bag of shot I bought earlier to bang our a dent. I used it here with my dent hammer and it smoothed out the dent in just a minute. The shot bag makes a good molly because it has some give.
