While I was at Van's today buying the Empennage kit I went for a ride in the original RV-6A with pilot named Bruce. Bruce piloted the RV-6A ship number 1, the blue beauty with me for a test ride. Very fun. I felt it, when Bruce did a 90 Degree banked turn. We couldn't do aerobatics, but he showed me the roll rate. The airplane was very response, requiring only light control inputs. I can hardly wait to fly mine.
