Aileron is fixed except for painting. I did brush some primer on the places paint came off and on the rivets. It is smooth. You almost can't tell except on the very trailing edge there is a bump
The A&P told the counter balance would be fine if I kept extra materials small. I have tried balancing it now and it does not balance on the hinge point like the RV. Course it probably needs to be attached to the other ailron anyway.
So, I'll show the A&P to get his buy off, and reinstall this. Oh and then test fly it. I do not except to notice any difference.
