I dimpled the horizontal stabalizer today. I used the C dimplier as much as I could because it is fast and accurate. Then I finished holes that couldn't be done on the C dimplier with the hand held pnuematic squeezer. Finally I dimplied the skins. I learned that the C dimplier's dies can back off a little and not complete the throw for the dimplier and and leave your holes under-dimpled. And it is hard to detect until you notice the spring feel at the end of the stroke is gone. So I had to redo one of the skins twice just to make sure ever hole was dimpled the same. Visually I can tell the hole is completely dimpled because I can see a slight mark from the outside diameter of the dimple die.
