So now the fiberglass work begins to fill in the gap. First I applied a expoxy resin only to fill in the gap. Then I put a 3/4 inch strip of glass across the strip and glassed over it. I sanded it down a lot. Then I used the Gold mud to smooth it out.
When I say "mud" I'm talking about Rage Gold which is a light weight, high quality and expensive resin filler.
