Brief Description: Wing Root Fairing 5: Snip off excess
I used my large tin snips to cut off the excess fairing so that the gap is 3/16. These large snips do pretty good at cutting a straight line.
Then I cleaned up the edges with a file and scotch bright wheel.
The fairings are on. I double checked the spacing by running the little 3/16 piece of aluminum along the gap and the gap is pretty consistant. I'll probably have to do some small adjustments when I actually screw this in with the gap stripping.
