Next I wanted to get the hinge holes drilled in the same place on both sides of the pedal. So after drilling the angles to the pedal I clecoed them together and used one hole to match drill the other. They seem pretty accurate. I've ordered an AN3-56 bolt from Aircraft Spruce for use here instead of two individual bolts. There is a long thread on Vans forum about the use of a long bolt to assist the hinge for friction free movement.
