Brief Description:  Mid Fuselage - Bolt forward bulkhead on 2

The drawing says to make the space 1.438 inches. Experienced builders say to make the space large like 1.440. Van's says this space can be up to .005 larger. So I decided I'd make my spacers 1.442. Well think again.

I cut the aluminum tub on the band saw using a little fence to keep the cuts common. Then I ground down the ends slightly to "exact" length. Then I measured and if necessary sanded it a little more. Well I had about a 50% rejection rate. I made a dozen just to get 8 that consistantly measured between 1.440 and 1.444.

Turns out I do not have the tools to make something accurate to .001 and I don't have a measuring tool to measure them that fine anyway. My calipers measure to 0.0005 but the variation in technique, and squareness of the tub ends and dust and other junk gave me inconsistant measures. However, with multiple measures I was able to determine the range of length the spacers were. I'm pretty confident they are at least 1.440 up to about 1.445.
