Then for the rivets I couldn't squeeze I just forward rivetted them using the flush set and bucking bar. I saw a lot of construction logs that set up the plate and back-rivetted, but I didn't want to back rivet for a couple reasons. I don't feel like pounding the back of the rivet sets it into the dimple very well. And the dimples were slightly deeper on this stainless steel then in aluminum because of less spring back. I get a good result with forward rivetting and it worked fine on this assembly.
