Brief Description: Tank Prep - Put Z-Brackets on Spar & 3 Platenuts
I bolted all the Z-brackets onto the front spar in preparation of receiving the tank skin and ribs. I riveted on the platenuts to the rear side of the front spar web in three locations each. I used MK-319-BS pulled rivets to fasten these. I called Van's and they approved this. This made attaching the platenuts easy and there doesn't seem to be much room to get a rivet gun in there.
