It was raining Saturday when I did the oil pressure test, so I did not proceed with starting the engine. So on Sunday before my friends came over I re-did the oil pressure test by spinning the engine with the starter until oil pressure showed. It only took a couple seconds.
I called my pilot friends and Dan, Bob and Bob came over, along with my wife Jody. The idea was plan for the worse; Hope for the best. The worse is a run-away engine with failed breaks and the airplane flies away and crashes. Or a fuel line leaks and sprays gas all over the place and ignites. So to mitigate these things:
1. Two guys watching for leaks with fire extinguishers 2. One guy watching everything with a flag to signal SHUT DOWN 3. Tied the airplane to my Ford Expedition
