I spent a lot of wasted time fiddling around with the springs, because I missed reading the instructions to use safety wire. I thought the springs had to stretch from stick to electric servo motor but they don't.
After getting the springs hooked up, I re-installed the 4 little pieces of floor rib that I cut off a long time ago to allow easy access for installing the sticks.
Now these little pieces finally go on with #8 screws, washer and nut. I considered using a nutplate but drawing calls for these #8 screws and nut which I'll bet are stronger. These floor ribs constitute the wing box and this area has got to be primary structure.
