Brief Description: Rivet arched rib together with splice 1
With the skide skins done, I need to rivet this splice and two halves of the arched rib together next. This needs to be done before I can mount the latch block. And I want to do it before I rivet the rib to the sides of the frame.
I primed the interfacing surfaces. I'll clean and prime the rest of the frame later after assembly so I can include the rivet heads. This frame is going to get painted with interior paint.
I discovered I never drilled holes in the bottom of the splice plate. Opps.
Then in reading the drawing some of these holes call for flush rivets. I decided to make them all flush. So I countersunk the rib to accept the rivet heads.
