Spending some time reading, the jury is mixed on what 'additional' priming is needed. I decided that the interior of the empennage (ribs and such) could be primed - easy - plus I has some scratches from contruction and not sure what would be protected.
I focused on mated parts and primed with NAPA7020 after cleaning. They look pretty good for a spray can.
I am not going to prime the HS601PP skin. I have left the protective plastic on and just today removed it. I will be careful on the interior when I re-assemble.
Riveting: I have very little experience riveting and more than a little concerned on my skill level. I decided today to practice some more and spent some time with scrap and univeral rivets.
Before I start in, I want to drive quite a few flush and univeral - althought after about a dozen today they were looking good. (I do have a checker to confirm)
