With one of the new panels in place, I ran the flaps up and down to determine the best place the put the jacks, so not to interfere with anything moving in that area. I also sat in the pilot's seat to find a height that's comfortable to work with. I drilled two 1/2" holes, one inch apart on each side to hold the jacks. I then painted the area around the jacks, so it doesn't just look like raw aluminum, and carpeted the rest of the panel.
