Brief Description:  Seatbelts, final

Testing the new seatbelts, I felt there was too much slack in the retraction mechanism, especially with the weight of the harness and connecting bar. I see no way to adjust the tension, however, the more seatbelt that comes out of the spool, the tighter the tension. I really don’t need seven feet of seatbelt winding up in there, so I cut about four feet off. This means I’m no longer using the sewn stock loop to the connecting bar. I instead wrapped the seatbelt material around my connecting bar, and created a bracket to secure it in place. Now, there is a right amount of tension, and I can say the seatbelts are done.
