I'm beginning the process of permanently attaching the turtle deck to the hull. The hull has a lip around it that the deck should fit into, for riveting. My turtle deck hung down below that lip by at least a quarter inch almost all the way around, so I had to mark it, remove it, and trim it. I was conservative on the initial cut, so when I remounted the deck, I still had to go inch by inch around it, trimming off much more that I thought I would have had to do. I stopped for the night after getting it cut down to where it should be, and I'll begin drilling and installing the Clecos in the next session.
